On July 2014, 120 people gathered in Nazareth for 72 hours to design and develop together solutions for people with special needs. It was the first ever TOM: Tikkun Olam Makeathon. Tikkun Olam means "Fixing the World", and we wanted to show that people brought together with the right surroundings can do a lot to bring the world forward, a small step at a time. 3D Printing can greatly aid in helping those with different abilities, from custom shoes, handles, prosthetics and bioprinting .
